Social Folk is hiring a Creative Videographer and Content Producer on a 6-month contract based in London. This is a single-operator production role covering everything from initial shoot through to final delivery, with output spanning documentary-style interviews, branded social content, and B-roll capture for commercial clients. About the Role

You will be working within Social Folk’s content production operation, servicing brand clients who need premium, social-first video across multiple formats. The day-to-day spans pre-production planning, on-location shooting across London and the wider South East, and post-production workflow including edit, colour grade, and sound design. Projects lean toward documentary interview formats and behind-the-scenes branded storytelling rather than scripted or broadcast television.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot documentary interviews, B-roll, and branded narrative content for commercial clients from brief through to final delivery.
• Lead pre-production logistics including shot lists, location recces, and equipment scheduling for single-camera and small-crew shoots.
• Handle the full post-production workflow independently, including offline edit, colour correction, and sound design.
• Produce multi-format social content packages, including vertical video cuts and multi-slide carousel assets optimised for platform delivery.
• Manage client communication across the production process, translating brand briefs into clear visual treatments and shot approaches.
• Maintain consistent visual language across a brand’s content output, ensuring each asset meets the brief without requiring multiple rounds of revision.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a videographer and content producer on branded or commercial productions, with a portfolio that demonstrates social-first video work.
• Proficiency in professional editing software, with hands-on colour grading and audio mixing capability built into your standard post-production workflow.
• Confidence shooting documentary-style interviews and unscripted B-roll with minimal direction, adapting quickly on location.
• Experience producing still and motion assets for social platforms, with an understanding of format specifications across major channels.
• Based in London or the South East, with the ability to travel to locations across the region for client shoots.
