Job Position(s): Motion Designer & Video Editor - Hybrid Studio
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Experian is hiring a Motion Designer and Video Editor for a hybrid studio role based in London, England. This position sits within the brand’s in-house creative studio, producing motion assets for paid social, display, email, and digital campaigns, with a particular focus on platform-specific content for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. It suits a mid-to-senior level motion designer who has worked across digital advertising pipelines and understands how to build for performance-driven channels.

About the Role

You will be embedded in a studio team alongside copywriters, marketers, and channel specialists, feeding into live digital campaign workflows on a rolling basis. A typical day moves between editing short-form video assets, building motion graphics sequences, and reviewing output from junior designers before work goes to channel teams. The volume is real and the turnaround is tight, so familiarity with production workflow at scale matters here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce motion graphics and edited video assets optimised for paid social formats across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube ad placements.
  • Manage the end-to-end post-production workflow for digital campaign deliverables, from rough cut through to final export and handoff.
  • Adapt master creative into platform-specific versions, ensuring each asset meets the technical and editorial requirements of its channel.
  • Review and quality-check output from junior designers, providing notes that are grounded in both craft and campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and channel strategists during briefing and concept stages to ensure motion work is buildable within production timelines.
  • Maintain consistency across the motion design system, including typography, animation style, and brand pacing across all digital formats.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience as a motion designer and video editor within an in-house studio, agency, or digital production environment.
  • Proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro, with a working knowledge of how to build scalable templates for multi-format delivery.
  • A portfolio that shows motion work across paid social and display advertising, not just broadcast or film-festival projects.
  • Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of junior creatives within a studio or post-production setting.
  • A clear understanding of aspect ratio, compression, and spec requirements across major digital advertising platforms.

Why This Role

Experian operates a genuine in-house studio function, which means the work is varied, the briefs come directly from internal stakeholders, and there is real scope to shape how motion design is used across the brand’s digital output. For a Motion Designer and Video Editor who wants to build depth in digital advertising production without moving into a traditional agency structure, this is a stable and substantive position. The London location places you within one of the more active markets for in-house creative and digital production workflow talent.

Apply now for the Motion Designer and Video Editor role at Experian and take the next step in your digital production career.
