About the Role

The TechOps team at Amazon MGM Studios supports both the production side, including on-set and location crew, and the business side, covering content development, programming, and marketing. Day to day, this means managing devices and software applications across episodic television and film productions, working alongside software engineers, vendors, and studio executives to keep systems stable. The Technology Operations Engineer is a hands-on position that requires comfort moving between systems administration tasks and live troubleshooting across a range of hardware and software environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second tier technical support to production personnel and studio business teams across Amazon MGM Studios global productions.
• Perform systems administration tasks including device management, software application oversight, and network support across production and office environments.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and escalate complex problems through the appropriate channels to minimise disruption to production workflow.
• Contribute to enterprise cross-functional projects in partnership with software developers, vendors, and other support teams.
• Prioritise and manage multiple concurrent support requests in a live production support environment, applying structured issue resolution methods.
• Drive ongoing improvement of service delivery processes across the full content production lifecycle.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience in IT or technology operations support, preferably within film, television, or a media production environment.
• Solid working knowledge of computer hardware components and the ability to support diverse software environments across platforms.
• Experience supporting end users at all levels, from on-set crew to senior studio executives.
• Proven ability to prioritise competing issues and operate calmly in complex, time-sensitive situations typical of episodic television or film production schedules.
• Willingness to learn and apply new technology as production toolsets and post-production workflows evolve.
