About the Role

The Designer, Paramount Television reports to the Vice President of Art and Design and works day-to-day alongside art directors to move campaign assets from concept through final delivery. The work spans episodic television promotional campaigns across multiple networks, requiring someone comfortable adapting key art for everything from hero formats down to social and device sizes. Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt key art for social platforms and motion graphics use, and contribute direction to how motion assets are developed from static originals.
  • Execute creative revisions and generate new concepts in response to art director briefs tracked through daily Airtable status updates.
  • Build modular design systems that scale across multiple deliverable sizes and platform configurations, from broadcast hero assets to social thumbnails.
  • Source photography and present work directly to art directors and wider leadership as needed during campaign reviews.
  • Maintain organized, well-labeled file structures and prepare production-ready templates for archival and handoff across the entertainment marketing pipeline.

What You Bring

  • Five or more years of professional graphic design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates key art execution for episodic television or entertainment marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PowerPoint is required; working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign is expected.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt key art for social and motion use within a multi-network or multi-brand environment.
  • Strong command of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy applied to promotional and campaign design contexts.
  • Figma proficiency is a plus, and experience with file organization across large-scale production deliverables is valued.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, or Advertising, or equivalent professional experience in the field.

Why This Role

The role is full-time and on-site in New York, embedded within a creative team that touches both legacy network brands and newer streaming platforms.
