About the Role

You will be embedded in the Group Marketing team at Northern Gas & Power, producing video content that serves both internal employer brand storytelling and external campaign distribution. A typical week moves between location shoots, editing timelines, and production planning sessions, meaning your output spans talking-head interviews, campaign spots, and branded documentary-style pieces. The role gives you genuine ownership of the video production workflow rather than a narrow slice of it.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule shoots from brief to call sheet, managing logistics across multiple locations as required by the campaign calendar.
• Operate professional camera systems on location, with responsibility for exposure, framing, and on-set audio capture.
• Edit footage through the full post-production workflow, including colour grading, sound mixing, and graphics integration.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual language across employer brand content that holds up across digital and social distribution formats.
• Manage project files, asset libraries, and delivery formats to keep the production pipeline organised across concurrent campaigns.
• Travel to shoots outside Hull as needed, representing the video production function across the wider group.

What You Bring

• A portfolio of produced video work across branded content, corporate video production, or campaign-led formats.
• Hands-on experience operating professional video equipment, including cameras, lighting rigs, and field audio gear.
• Proficiency in industry-standard post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong organisational skills across the pre-production and production phases, with the ability to manage your own schedule.
• Willingness and availability to travel for location shoots as part of the role.
