Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end VFX pipeline, setting technical standards and workflow protocols that keep production on schedule and on spec.
• Supervise on-set VFX acquisition, including camera tracking, plate photography, and liaison with the DP to ensure clean, usable footage for post-production workflow.
• Review and approve artist work across compositing, CG, and simulation disciplines, giving notes that are specific, actionable, and grounded in the brief.
• Collaborate with directors and creative leads during preproduction to define the visual effects scope, schedule, and budget for each project.
• Manage and mentor a team of VFX artists, distributing workloads across the department and identifying where additional resource or specialist support is needed.
• Deliver final composited and approved VFX shots to the required technical specifications for each output format, whether broadcast, digital, or interactive.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable credits as a VFX Supervisor or senior compositor across commercial production or mixed-media projects.
• Deep working knowledge of Nuke for compositing, alongside familiarity with at least one 3D application such as Houdini, Maya, or Cinema 4D.
• Proven experience managing a VFX team through full production cycles, from brief to delivery.
• Strong understanding of on-set data management, colour pipelines, and delivery specifications for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Ability to read a production schedule and make realistic, informed decisions about what the VFX pipeline can absorb within a given timeline.
