About the Role

This contract sits inside an AI speech dataset production pipeline, the kind of work that has grown steadily alongside demand for IVR systems, audiobook production, and AI voice dataset projects. Key Responsibilities

• Record high-quality voice samples across conversational, narrative, and instructional scripts, maintaining a consistent Southern American English accent throughout each session.
• Deliver multiple takes per script with deliberate variation in emotion, emphasis, and vocal style to provide the model with expressive range.
• Control intonation, diction, and pacing precisely across long recording sessions without drift in accent or delivery consistency.
• Set up and manage your own recording environment to meet professional audio standards, including microphone placement, pop filter use, and room treatment.
• Follow detailed file formatting and labeling guidelines so recordings integrate cleanly into the speech model training workflow.
• Flag any script ambiguities or pronunciation questions before recording to avoid session reshoots and protect turnaround time.

What You Bring

• Native Southern American English accent, from states such as Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, or the Carolinas, with current US residency.
• Proven credits in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcast production.
• Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality condenser or dynamic microphone, pop filter, and acoustically quiet space.
• Experience recording for TTS systems, audiobooks, or IVR voice production is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper is preferred but not required.
