AV Producer – UCAN
- Full Time
- Los Angeles, California, USA
Netflix
Netflix is hiring an AV Producer for its UCAN Marketing AV Post Production team, based in Los Angeles, California. This role sits inside the theatrical marketing department and owns the finishing and localization pipeline for campaign assets spanning teasers, trailers, TV spots, and digital rollouts from early campaign stages through launch. It suits a producer with deep roots in theatrical post production workflow who knows how to move high asset volumes across global platforms without losing quality or schedule control.
About the Role
The AV Producer reports to the Sr. Manager of AV Production and works across theatrical campaigns including IMAX and festival releases, managing everything from long-lead campaign planning through same-day delivery crises. Day to day, this means shepherding color, sound mix, and VFX workflows alongside external finishing vendors and localization partners while keeping internal marketing and communications teams aligned on timelines and deliverables. The volume is high and the campaigns are global, so production workflow fluency is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end finishing and delivery of theatrical marketing AV assets including teasers, trailers, TV spots, and social cutdowns across broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
- Oversee color, sound mix, and visual effects workflows in partnership with colorists, editors, and sound engineers to preserve creative intent across all versions.
- Manage source material preps including GFX collects, scripts, and M&E stems to enable accurate, on-time localized deliveries from localization teams.
- Advise stakeholders on delivery and budget risks across multi-version campaigns coordinated for simultaneous global in-theater and digital rollouts.
- Ensure all finishing vendors and creative agencies remain aligned with legal clearance requirements, music usage rights, and technical file specifications for each platform.
- Identify inefficiencies in the post production pipeline and drive workflow improvements through automation, delegation, or process redesign without compromising security or quality.
What You Bring
- 8 or more years of AV production experience at a post house, studio, streamer, or creative agency.
- Demonstrated credits managing theatrical marketing post production workflows across major studio or streamer campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with localization production including M&E prep, versioning, and coordinating regional rollouts across multiple territories.
- Proven ability to manage large asset volumes across competing priorities in a high-output episodic or theatrical production environment.
- Fluency with industry-standard post production workflow tools and asset management systems used in marketing finishing pipelines.
Why This Role
Netflix operates one of the largest theatrical marketing post production pipelines in the industry, with campaigns spanning hundreds of territories and formats simultaneously. The UCAN team works on some of the most visible releases on the global theatrical calendar, giving the AV Producer direct ownership over high-profile campaign delivery. For a producer looking to work at scale on marquee theatrical releases, this is a substantive step up in scope.
Apply now for the AV Producer role at Netflix and bring your theatrical post production experience to one of the most active marketing pipelines in the business.
