This role sits within the in-house Creative and Marketing department, producing social-first video content across TikTok and Instagram, from lo-fi reactive shoots to polished brand storytelling. About the Role

The Content Videographer works directly alongside Murad’s Creative, Social, and Cross-functional teams to generate footage that serves both product storytelling and consumer engagement goals. Day to day, this person moves between concepting original briefs, responding to same-day production requests, and delivering edited content ready to publish, all within a hybrid schedule anchored to the El Segundo office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The role is largely self-directed, which means ownership over the full production workflow from ideation through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit short-form video content built specifically for TikTok and Instagram, turning around reactive content on the same day when needed.
  • Concept original content ideas independently and determine which stakeholders need to be looped in before production begins.
  • Execute on incoming creative briefs while also developing self-initiated content that aligns with brand goals and seasonal priorities.
  • Balance lo-fi social content production with more cinematic brand edits, reading the brief to know which approach serves the platform.
  • Shoot across event, editorial, and brand storytelling formats, building a body of work that reflects the full range of Murad’s content needs.
  • Apply a working knowledge of what drives scroll-stopping performance on social platforms to inform creative strategy before a single frame is shot.

What You Bring

  • Three to five years of professional videography experience with a portfolio demonstrating range across event coverage, editorial shoots, and brand content production.
  • Fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required; experience with CapCut or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
  • Background in a corporate or agency production environment, with comfort navigating internal approval structures and creative processes.
  • Experience in beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brand content is a genuine advantage, not just a checkbox.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both as a solo content creator and as part of a larger in-house creative team.
