Job Type
LawUno is hiring a full-time Content Producer & Videographer based in Sydney, New South Wales. This role sits at the intersection of event coverage and short-form digital content production, with output spanning interview-style videos, event highlight reels, and founder-led social content distributed across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. It suits a self-sufficient shooter-editor who is comfortable working on location, interviewing subjects on camera, and turning around polished short-form content independently.
About the Role
The Content Producer & Videographer works directly alongside the LawUno founder, operating as the primary one-person production unit responsible for capturing and editing all brand content. Day-to-day work involves attending events, running handheld or shoulder-mount shoots, conducting on-camera interviews with lawyers and legal industry figures, and editing footage through a short-form video production workflow for same-week publication. Strategy and scheduling come from leadership, so the role is weighted toward execution rather than creative development.
Key Responsibilities
- Film and photograph LawUno events across Sydney, capturing both structured coverage and behind-the-scenes material for use across multiple platforms.
- Conduct on-camera interviews with lawyers, law students, and legal industry leaders, managing both the technical setup and interview direction.
- Edit short-form video content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, including reels and event highlight packages, using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent editing software.
- Produce video content for sponsors and partners to agreed briefs, ensuring deliverables meet both brand standards and platform specifications.
- Shoot and edit founder-led content, including talking-head and documentary-style pieces that form the backbone of the LawUno content output.
- Organise and maintain an ongoing content library, managing file naming, storage, and asset retrieval across a growing archive.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience in short-form video production, with a portfolio showing event coverage, interviews, or branded content.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or comparable non-linear editing software.
- Experience filming and producing content in uncontrolled, run-and-gun environments such as live events or location shoots.
- Confidence directing non-professional on-camera talent, including executives or subject-matter experts.
- Photography skills suitable for event and portrait use are a practical advantage in this role.
Why This Role
LawUno has grown to a national community with live events and recognised industry partnerships within a short operating period, which means the content archive being built now will document the early history of a growing media presence in the legal sector. A Content Producer & Videographer joining at this stage has genuine influence over how that story is told and a direct line to the decision-makers shaping it.
