About the Role

Day to day, this Commerce Writer is filing six to ten articles per week, tracking product launches, and digging into audience analytics to shape what gets covered. During tentpole shopping events like Prime Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, this person joins the core team scaling up coverage across FOX’s digital properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and publish six to ten articles per week spanning product roundups, evergreen guides, and short and long-form product reviews across tech and home categories.
• Research competitor coverage, track new product launches, and pitch original content based on seasonal search trends and historical performance data.
• Apply SEO best practices within a CMS environment, with WordPress experience being the preferred platform for daily publishing.
• Work directly with partnerships and growth teams to ensure commerce content is structured for maximum affiliate revenue generation.
• Cover major retail shopping events as part of the core deals writing team, contributing to editorial strategy meetings for tentpole coverage planning.
• Follow in-house brand safety guidelines and AP style standards across all published content.

What You Bring

• Three or more years of commerce writing experience with samples showing coverage across multiple product verticals.
• Daily hands-on experience working inside a CMS, preferably WordPress.
• Proven track record producing both deals-centric articles and evergreen content that drives measurable revenue.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Chartbeat to inform editorial decisions.
• Strong command of AP style and the ability to manage multiple deadlines without dropping the ball on accuracy or detail.
