About the Role

The Content Acquisition Manager, PVI CAM & Partnerships, works within Prime Video’s CANZ licensing team, engaging directly with major studios, independent distributors, and TV network groups to build out the regional content portfolio. Day-to-day work spans deal evaluation, financial modeling, partner relationship management, and cross-functional coordination with legal, finance, and marketing teams. The output is a well-curated mix of licensed titles across flat fee, pay-per-hour, and pay-for-performance deal models that serve Prime Video subscribers across three distinct markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and execute SVOD content licensing agreements with major studios, independent producers, and TV network groups across the CANZ region under multiple deal structures.
• Manage content selection and portfolio composition across categories, working with senior team members to balance breadth and performance across the streaming library.
• Analyze customer consumption and usage data to surface acquisition insights, identify content gaps, and flag emerging genres worth pursuing in each territory.
• Track financial metrics and contribute to content acquisition planning materials presented to senior management.
• Coordinate with internal teams across legal, finance, and marketing to move content licensing agreements from deal close through to on-platform launch.
• Maintain and develop external relationships with content providers across Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, supporting partner engagement on behalf of senior team members.

What You Bring

• Prior experience in content licensing, content acquisition, or distribution within a streaming, studio, or broadcast environment.
• Familiarity with SVOD deal structures including flat fee licensing and pay-for-performance models.
• Demonstrated ability to build financial models and evaluate content performance forecasts.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams including legal and finance in a rights or licensing context.
• Understanding of technical delivery requirements for video content, including metadata and asset specifications.
