About the Role

The Video Editor, Global Shared Services works inside Amazon MGM Studios’ centralized post team, producing promotional video assets across Prime Video’s content library rather than on a single episodic television series or feature film. Day-to-day work means moving between several concurrent projects in Adobe Premiere, applying established templates and style guides, and coordinating with producers and QA to hit delivery windows. The role is structured as a production specialist position, meaning workflows and creative parameters are defined, but there is real room to contribute to process refinements over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut and deliver trailer cutdowns, H1 videos, multi-title promotional assets, and drop-ins according to creative direction and established post-production templates.
• Manage simultaneous project timelines in Adobe Premiere while maintaining consistent quality standards across all deliverables.
• Apply and uphold style guides and versioning standards across a high volume of streaming promotional content.
• Coordinate with producers, QA teams, and immediate stakeholders to track deliverables and flag any issues before deadlines.
• Make editorial decisions within defined creative parameters to improve the quality and clarity of each video output.
• Actively develop skills in motion graphics, animation, and sound design as part of a longer-term growth path within the AV production team.

What You Bring

• High proficiency in Adobe Premiere is required, with working knowledge of other post-production software considered an asset.
• Demonstrated experience cutting promotional or marketing video content, including trailers, sizzle reels, or platform-specific assets.
• Ability to manage multiple project deadlines without losing output quality, particularly in a high-volume streaming or broadcast environment.
• Familiarity with template-based editorial workflows and the discipline to execute within them consistently.
• Some exposure to motion graphics or sound design is a plus, even at a foundational level.
