OLIVER North America is hiring a Video Editor based in Chicago, Illinois to join their in-house agency model serving brand and performance media clients. This role sits squarely in the post-production workflow, with the editor owning cuts from brief through delivery across paid social, display, and digital video formats. It’s a strong fit for a mid-level editor who knows how to move fast across a high-volume content slate without losing quality.

About the Role

OLIVER operates as an embedded agency partner for major brands, which means the post-production work here is ongoing and varied rather than project-to-project. Day to day, the Video Editor is cutting and adapting assets across multiple platform specifications, from paid social formats to occasional longer-form brand content, working remotely and managing their own project queue. The pace is steady and the output is production-ready, not rough-cut work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and deliver video content across performance media and paid social channels, optimising each cut for platform specifications and audience behaviour.
  • Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to produce on-brand edits that meet both creative direction and commercial objectives from brief.
  • Cut and adapt existing assets across multiple formats and aspect ratios, maintaining consistency across a varied digital distribution slate.
  • Manage revision rounds efficiently, incorporating feedback from creative and account partners clearly and within agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain organised project files, asset libraries, and archiving systems to support a remote post-production workflow.
  • Contribute to the improvement of edit templates and asset management processes across the broader content operation.

What You Bring

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects across editing, motion, and asset adaptation at a production-ready level.
  • Demonstrated experience editing performance media and paid social video, with a clear understanding of what drives conversion in paid channels.
  • A portfolio or showreel showing a range of edited work, with paid social or performance video examples preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fully remote environment without close supervision.
  • Adobe Photoshop proficiency is a plus and welcomed across projects.
