Delancey is visibly upset as students whisper and glance at their phones showing her infamous outburst. Delancey: (angrily) “I can’t believe this. Everyone’s treating me like a joke. I need to find out who filmed this and make them pay.” Margaret: (nodding) “We need to find the source of that video and get it taken down. This is beyond unfair.” Anthony: (determined) “Let’s start by asking around. Someone has to know something.” They first approach Alistair, who is by their locker. Anthony: “Hey Alistair, did you see or hear anything about who might have filmed Delancey’s meltdown yesterday?” Alistair: (shaking his head) “Nope. We were too focused on our own presentation to notice anything.” Alistair: (shrugging) “Sorry, I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary.” Anthony: “Was there anyone filming, or did you see anyone doing something unusual?” Alistair: (looking puzzled) “No, I didn’t see anyone with a camera. Maybe it was just someone who happened to be there.” Alistair: (frowning) “I was sitting at the back and didn’t notice anything unusual.” Anthony: “Thanks, Alistair. I’ll see you later at Algebra!” Their questioning yields no results. As they walk through the hall, they spot a red blinking light peeking from behind some posters on the wall. They catch a brief glimpse of a person with long, white hair before they turn the corner. Margaret: (noticing the person) “Did you see that? Someone with white hair was just there!” Anthony: (determined) “Let’s find out who that was.” They follow the person through the hallways, trying to keep up. The person quickly turns into a side corridor. Anthony, leading the way, corners the person. Anthony: “Hey, wait! We need to talk to you.” The person turns around, revealing themselves to be Summer, a girl with long, white hair. Summer: (coldly) “What do you want?” Delancey: (angrily) “You filmed my meltdown, didn’t you?” Summer: (bitterly) “Yeah, I did. And I’m not sorry. You made my life a living nightmare with your bullying.” Delancey: (stunned) “What are you talking about?” Summer: (bitterly) “I’m the girl you and your friends used to make fun of for having ‘weird’ white hair. You tormented me for years. This was just a little payback.” Delancey: (shocked) “I… I didn’t realize.” Margaret: (stepping in) “Wait, you’re the girl Delancey bullied? I had no idea. We should have known.” Summer: (angrily) “Yeah, well, it was my chance to get some revenge. Maybe now you’ll understand how it feels to be humiliated.” Anthony: (trying to mediate) “Summer, we understand you’re hurt, but this isn’t the right way to handle things. We need to address this more constructively.” Summer: (sighing) “Fine. I’ll take down the video. I just wanted to make a point and show what it feels like to be on the receiving end.” Delancey, visibly shaken, looks down and then meets Summer’s gaze. Delancey: (softly) “I’m sorry. I didn’t realize the impact of my actions. I’ll make it right.” Summer: (nodding) “Just remember, actions have consequences. I hope you learn from this.” Summer walks away, leaving Delancey, Margaret, and Anthony in reflection. ⸻ After confronting Summer, Delancey, Margaret, and Anthony are left with a heavy tension in the air. Delancey is visibly shaken, and Anthony is trying to address the situation. Anthony: (trying to mediate) “Summer, we really need to work this out. This isn’t the way to handle things. Let’s discuss this calmly.” Summer: (crossing her arms) “I’ve had enough of you guys. You think you can just fix everything by talking?” Delancey: (nervously) “We just want to understand what happened and why you did this.” Summer: (angrily) “Understand? You never cared about what you did to me. Why should I trust you now?” Margaret: (stepping in) “We’re just trying to get to the bottom of this. We didn’t know about your past with Delancey.”
