About the Role

This is a remote, asynchronous contract engagement where your core output is written technical analysis of speech recordings, not performance itself. You will listen to a range of samples covering scripted reads, spontaneous speech, and conversational delivery, then document vocal characteristics, audio production quality, and emotional tone using professional terminology. Think of it as the speech equivalent of a sound editorial workflow, where detailed, repeatable documentation is the product.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze short speech recordings and produce precise written assessments covering pitch, intonation, resonance, phonation type, breath support, rhythm, and tempo using standardized voice industry terminology.
• Identify accent and dialect variation across samples, noting regional or non-native speech patterns with confidence and specificity where the evidence supports it.
• Evaluate emotional tone, articulation clarity, and delivery style, distinguishing between scripted performance and spontaneous or conversational vocal production.
• Assess audio production quality including recording environment, device type (studio microphone, headset, or phone), and room acoustics as part of each evaluation.
• Deliver all findings in clear, structured written reports that maintain consistent technical language across the full scope of the project.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and documentation accuracy throughout all analysis and reporting work on the AI voice training pipeline.

What You Bring

• Professional background in voice acting, voice coaching, dialect coaching, or vocal pedagogy, with a working knowledge of phonetics and prosody.
• Strong command of speech analysis concepts including resonance, voice placement, and breath control as applied in performance or teaching contexts.
• Experience evaluating audio recording quality and acoustic environments, whether from sound engineering, studio production, or home recording workflows.
• Exceptional written communication skills and the attention to detail required for technical documentation at scale.
• English fluency at B2 level or above, with native proficiency in any language considered a strength.
• Reliable internet connection and quality headphones suitable for critical listening and audio evaluation.
