Job Position(s): Videographer Savage (Video Content, Video Producer)
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

King Kong, a digital marketing agency based in South Yarra, Victoria, is hiring a full-time Videographer Savage to join their in-house content team. This role sits within the agency’s internal video production department, responsible for shooting and editing promotional content across YouTube, Facebook, and direct-response advertising campaigns. It suits a self-sufficient video producer who can own a shoot from pre-production through to final delivery without needing their hand held.

About the Role

The Videographer Savage works inside King Kong’s content team, producing brand and performance video content that serves live marketing campaigns rather than a traditional broadcast or film production pipeline. Day to day, that means run-and-gun vlog shoots, studio setups, and editing sequences that need to hold attention from the first frame. The output is fast-moving and tied directly to measurable results, so understanding how video content performs in a digital advertising context matters here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit high-impact promotional video content formatted for YouTube, Facebook, and website advertising placements.
  • Operate as a run-and-gun videographer on vlog-style productions, handling camera work, movement, and framing independently on location.
  • Set up, manage, and pack down lighting rigs, audio equipment, and camera systems for both studio and location shoots.
  • Deliver vlog-style edits with pacing and structure suited to digital content production workflows and short-form storytelling.
  • Capture footage consistently to brand standards, ensuring clean audio sync, correct exposure, and on-brand visual language across all projects.
  • Work alongside internal creative and marketing teams to translate campaign briefs into production-ready video content.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a videographer or video producer across commercial, branded, or digital content production.
  • Solid editing skills with professional post-production software, Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent, with a reel that shows both shooting and cutting ability.
  • Hands-on experience managing your own lighting and audio setups across studio and on-location shoots.
  • A working understanding of what makes video content convert in paid social and YouTube environments, not just what looks good.
  • Ability to work at the pace of a content-heavy agency production schedule without sacrificing technical quality.

Why This Role

King Kong has been named one of the best places to work in Australia by the AFR for five consecutive years and ranks among the country’s most recognised digital agencies, which means the work produced here gets seen at scale. For a Videographer Savage who wants consistent production volume, a clear creative brief, and direct exposure to performance-driven video content strategy, this is a solid place to build that side of your career.

Apply now for the Videographer Savage role at King Kong and put your reel in front of a team that takes video production seriously.
