Videographer / Photographer

Stop 42 Digital is hiring a full-time Videographer / Photographer based in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a production role sitting across both acquisition and post, responsible for shooting and editing short-form video and stills content for a client roster that spans construction, property, trade and lifestyle brands. It suits a shooter-editor who is equally comfortable running a location shoot and turning around a graded, captioned social cut the same week.

About the Role

You will work within Stop 42 Digital’s production team alongside other videographers and social media coordinators, reporting directly to the Director. The production workflow alternates structured shoot days and edit days, covering talking head interviews, product shoots, location work across Adelaide and occasional regional SA travel. Output is primarily short-form video content formatted for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, alongside edited photo galleries delivered to clients on a regular weekly cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera, manage location lighting rigs and capture clean location audio across a variety of commercial production shoots each week.
• Edit and colour grade short-form video cuts of 15 to 30 seconds in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, adding captions and audio mix to platform spec.
• Cull, edit and grade photo selects in Lightroom for delivery to clients across multiple active briefs.
• Direct non-professional talent, including clients and their staff, on camera to achieve natural and usable performances.
• Pitch shot concepts, content hooks and format ideas suited to current social video trends and each client’s brand positioning.
• Produce content for Stop 42 Digital’s own channels as part of the broader production schedule.

What You Bring

• A portfolio demonstrating both short-form video production and commercial or editorial photography.
• Working proficiency in Lightroom and at least one of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
• Solid grip on camera exposure, composition, practical lighting and location audio capture.
• A current driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle for getting to and from client sites.
• CASA RePL drone certification or sub-2kg excluded category experience is desirable but not required.
• Motion graphics experience in After Effects or similar is a plus for candidates coming from a post-production background.
