Videographer & Editor

Slice is hiring a Videographer & Editor for a full-time, on-site position based in Muscat, Oman. This role sits across production and post-production, with the person responsible for shooting cinematic commercial content and taking it through the full editorial and color pipeline to delivery. It suits a camera operator and editor who has worked across brand content and social media production and is comfortable owning a project from shoot day through final output.

About the Role

Working within Slice’s creative team, this Videographer & Editor will handle commercial videography production for brand clients, covering everything from pre-light setup through to color grade and export. Day to day, that means operating professional camera and lens packages, designing and executing lighting setups, and cutting and grading the footage in post. The role is a single-operator position with full ownership of the visual storytelling process.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional camera systems on commercial and brand content shoots, making real-time decisions on composition, focal length, and camera movement to serve the visual story.
• Design and execute lighting setups across a range of production environments, adapting to interior and exterior conditions for brand and social media content.
• Edit footage through a complete post-production workflow in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, from assembly cut through to picture lock.
• Perform color grading and color correction to a broadcast and digital delivery standard, maintaining consistency across multi-piece content campaigns.
• Produce finished video assets optimized for brand and social media distribution, managing format, resolution, and spec requirements for each platform.
• Apply principles of visual storytelling and screen composition at every stage of production, from shot selection on set to sequence decisions in the edit.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience in cinematic videography across commercial content or brand production, supported by a portfolio or showreel.
• Hands-on proficiency with professional camera systems and interchangeable lens packages used in commercial production workflows.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, with a specific focus on color grading and color correction.
• Solid understanding of lighting technique and setup, applied across varied commercial and social media production environments.
• Ability to work on-site in Muscat, Oman full-time, with relocation considered for international applicants.
