AR Energy is hiring a full-time Videographer / Content Creator in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a sole in-house production role focused on short-form social video content, field documentation and edited deliverables across digital channels, with an output of roughly 40 pieces per month. It suits a self-directed shooter-editor who is comfortable working without a crew and can run a content production workflow from acquisition through to final delivery.

About the Role

The Videographer / Content Creator at AR Energy operates as a one-person content department, owning the full short-form video production cycle from pre-shoot planning through edit and asset management. The work is split between live field shoots at residential and commercial solar install sites across Adelaide and in-office edit sessions, with output spanning Reels, TikTok, YouTube and supporting stills. There is no waiting on briefs here, the role requires you to plan shoots two weeks ahead using a content calendar and deliver consistently against a weekly release cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Film and edit short-form social video content across platforms including Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube, contributing to a monthly output of approximately 40 pieces.
• Travel to live install sites across Adelaide and regional South Australia to capture rooftop timelapses, drone footage, before-and-after sequences and customer handover moments.
• Shoot educational and team-profile content directly with company directors and field crew, guiding subjects without a dedicated producer on set.
• Manage the full post-production workflow including footage organisation, editing to brand standard, file naming and maintaining a structured digital asset library.
• Plan the shoot schedule two weeks in advance from a shared content calendar, batching location days where possible to keep production efficient.
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure video output aligns with the broader content strategy and brand tone.

What You Bring

• A showreel demonstrating short-form social video production, specifically content that prioritises authentic storytelling over promotional gloss.
• Confident camera operation and non-linear editing skills across Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or comparable software.
• The ability to arrive on a working job site, assess the environment and capture usable material without heavy direction.
• A current driver’s licence for travel to sites across Adelaide and surrounding areas.
• Drone operation experience or willingness to obtain a RePL certification, which is treated as a bonus rather than a requirement.
