Job Position(s): Videographer
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

VisionPoint Marketing is hiring a Videographer based in Raleigh, NC. This role sits inside a full-service marketing agency’s creative department, where the output spans social video ads, brand anthem films, and motion graphic campaigns built for digital platforms. It suits an editor and motion designer who thinks conceptually about format and audience, not just someone who cuts footage together.

About the Role

The Videographer works directly within the creative team alongside designers, copywriters, and a creative director, functioning as the lead on post-production workflow from rough cut through final delivery. Projects range from 15-second paid social ads to longer-form brand content, each requiring a different editorial approach and pacing strategy. A typical day moves between independent editing sessions, cross-functional creative reviews, and motion graphics work inside Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead post-production on multiple concurrent video projects, managing editorial timelines, asset organization, and final export across digital distribution formats.
  • Build motion graphics and animated sequences that reinforce brand identity and work cohesively alongside static design campaigns.
  • Present edited cuts to internal stakeholders and clients, articulating the editorial and pacing decisions behind each version and revising based on strategic direction.
  • Maintain an organized library of raw footage, project files, and rendered exports to support a clean and accessible post-production workflow for the broader creative team.
  • Contribute to concepting sessions, bringing a videographer’s perspective to campaign ideation before production begins.
  • Monitor developments in video technology and editing tools, including AI-assisted video applications, and bring relevant techniques into the agency’s production process.

What You Bring

  • Five or more years of experience as a videographer or video editor, with a portfolio or demo reel that shows a range of format and tone.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects, as the primary post-production tools.
  • Demonstrated experience editing video-based advertisements for digital platforms, including social media and web.
  • A working understanding of cinematography, sound design, and motion theory as they apply to brand storytelling.
  • A degree in video production, motion graphics, film, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Why This Role

VisionPoint Marketing operates with a remote-first policy and gives Raleigh-based staff the choice between in-person, hybrid, or fully remote schedules, which is a practical benefit for working professionals managing their own production lives. The agency model means this videographer touches a wide range of brand categories and content types rather than repeating the same format for a single client. For an editor looking to grow into a strategic creative role, the direct access to a creative director and integrated campaign teams makes this a real development opportunity.

Apply now for the Videographer position at VisionPoint Marketing and bring your post-production work to a team that puts editorial thinking at the center of the creative process.
