About the Role

The Video Editor, Global Shared Services works within Amazon MGM Studios’ centralized post-production workflow, cutting promotional and marketing assets across Prime Video’s streaming library rather than on a single title or series. Day-to-day work involves executing edits in Adobe Premiere against established style guides, coordinating with producers and QA on deliverables, and managing several concurrent project timelines. It is a volume-oriented editorial role that rewards consistency, technical precision, and the ability to make sound creative decisions within set parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut trailer cutdowns, H1 videos, multi-title promotional assets, and drop-ins according to approved creative direction and delivery specs.
• Apply and maintain video templates and style guides across all deliverables to ensure consistency across the Prime Video content slate.
• Manage multiple concurrent post-production timelines, hitting scheduled delivery deadlines without compromising technical or creative quality standards.
• Coordinate directly with producers, QA teams, and immediate stakeholders to align on project requirements and flag any editorial issues early in the process.
• Make independent editorial decisions on assigned projects, escalating to senior editors or producers when stakeholder approvals or complex creative calls are required.
• Actively develop additional skills in motion graphics, animation, and sound design to expand contribution within the shared services pipeline.

What You Bring

• High proficiency in Adobe Premiere, with a working knowledge of other post-production software used in promotional or episodic television editorial.
• Demonstrated experience cutting promotional video content, including trailers, sizzle reels, or streaming marketing assets.
• Proven ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously within a structured post-production workflow.
• Foundational understanding of motion graphics and sound design principles, with a willingness to develop those skills on the job.
• Strong communication habits when working across editorial, production, and QA teams on shared deliverables.
