Job Position(s): Video Editor for Content Agency (Long-term)
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: $1,000 - $1,500/day

Orange Leaf, a content agency hiring remotely, is looking for a Video Editor for Content Agency work on a long-term basis. This role sits firmly in post-production, covering the full edit workflow across paid social ads, YouTube long-form, short-form content, and motion graphics output. It suits an editor who moves comfortably between formats and brings genuine storytelling instinct to the cut, not just technical execution.

About the Role

This is a remote post-production role embedded in a small content agency that handles a varied slate of commercial and digital projects. On any given day, the Video Editor for Content Agency deliverables might be trimming a lifestyle ad for paid social, building a motion graphics sequence in After Effects, or pacing a long-form educational piece for YouTube. The role is ongoing, with project volume that supports consistent monthly income and room to grow as the agency scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form social content for paid advertising campaigns, applying format-specific pacing and platform-aware cutting techniques.
  • Assemble and finish long-form educational videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, managing sequence structure, audio mix, and export deliverables.
  • Build motion graphics and animated elements in Adobe After Effects to support both social and long-form post-production pipelines.
  • Interpret creative briefs independently and translate written feedback into editorial decisions without requiring step-by-step direction.
  • Manage your own deadlines across multiple concurrent projects and flag issues before they affect delivery.
  • Bring creative input to the edit, contributing story logic and pacing ideas rather than executing cuts mechanically.

What You Bring

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, with a current licensed Adobe Creative Cloud subscription required.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates range across lifestyle content, paid social ads, motion graphics, and long-form digital video.
  • Strong written and spoken English for reading briefs and processing feedback accurately.
  • Availability to work within EST hours on a remote basis.
  • A track record of meeting deadlines consistently without requiring follow-up from clients or producers.

Why This Role

Orange Leaf offers a steady post-production workflow with genuine format variety, which keeps the work from going stale. Editors can expect to earn $1,000 to $1,500 per month based on current project volume, with per-project rates ranging from $30 to $80 for short-form videos and $100 to $200 for long-form videos. The position is built for long-term collaboration, with income potential that grows alongside the agency.

Apply now for the Video Editor for Content Agency position at Orange Leaf and include two to three edits you consider your strongest work.
