About the Role

The Shop is Stanley Black and Decker’s internal creative agency, producing branded and campaign content across digital and social platforms. As the Video Editor, you are the primary post-production resource for the team, handling everything from footage ingest and project organisation through to final export across multiple formats and aspect ratios. A meaningful part of this role is keeping the media asset system clean, documented, and usable, which makes you as much a steward of the archive as you are an editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit social-first and branded video content using footage supplied by Social Media Filmmakers alongside internal archive and owned media assets.
• Manage the full post-production workflow including footage ingest, version control, project organisation, and archiving of completed deliverables.
• Maintain a structured media library with accurate logging, metadata documentation, and clear file location records for all raw footage and final exports.
• Select music, pacing, graphics, and visual treatments that serve the story and meet platform-specific audience engagement requirements.
• Prepare deliverables in multiple formats and aspect ratios suited to a range of digital and social media platforms.
• Work directly with filmmakers and creative teams to align edits with brand standards, visual identity, and tone of voice across all content types.

What You Bring

• A minimum of five years of professional experience as a Video Editor within a brand, agency, production, or media environment.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable professional editing software.
• A demonstrable track record editing branded content and social-first video across multiple platforms and formats.
• Solid experience managing media assets, archive systems, and metadata within a structured post-production workflow.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film, media production, post-production, communications, or a related field.
