About the Role

The Video Editor joins a marketing team that handles everything from social content production to employer branding series, working across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and the company website. Current projects include a video series marking Social Deal’s 15th anniversary, ongoing deal and partner videos, and regular social campaign content briefed directly from the marketing team. A typical day moves between finishing a Reel in the morning and cutting a longer branding piece in the afternoon, with room to test new tools in between.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver video content for multiple platforms and formats, from short-form mobile content to full branded campaign videos, managing each cut to suit the platform’s specific pacing and audience expectations.
• Translate raw footage and written creative briefs into finished social media video production ready for publishing, handling music selection, timing, text overlays, and visual consistency throughout.
• Contribute to the employer branding video series tied to Social Deal’s anniversary, including footage selection, narrative structure, and maintaining a consistent visual identity across episodes.
• Coordinate with account managers on commercial partner and deal videos, advising on how to present partners effectively within the post-production workflow.
• Monitor trends in short-form video and social content production and bring specific, actionable format ideas back to the team for testing.
• Experiment with AI-assisted editing tools to improve turnaround time and output quality without sacrificing creative control over the final cut.

What You Bring

• Hands-on editing experience gained through study, internship, freelance work, or a first full-time role in video or social content production.
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro as a primary editing tool.
• A clear understanding of how edit style, pacing, and format differ between a TikTok, a Reel, and a longer branding video.
• A good eye for visual storytelling, including shot selection, rhythm, and how music and text support the narrative.
• Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they fit into a modern post-production workflow.
