Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form and short-form video content for distribution across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, and Facebook, applying platform-specific pacing and formatting to each deliverable.
• Structure narrative arcs, cut to music, handle audio mixing, and apply color grading to maintain consistent production value across all output formats.
• Reformat master assets into vertical 9:16, square 1:1, and horizontal 16:9 variants, optimizing each for platform algorithm performance.
• Integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, title cards, and thumbnail assets supplied by digital content designers directly into the post-production timeline.
• Manage project file organization, raw footage archiving, and edit queue prioritization across multiple concurrent projects with tight turnarounds.
• Monitor social video trends, shifting platform features, and trending audio to inform editing choices and improve content retention metrics.

What You Bring

• Five or more years of professional video editing experience within a content, media, sports, entertainment, or digital marketing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition or equivalent audio tools, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• A demo reel demonstrating strong pacing, audio design, and experience across both 16:9 and 9:16 formats for digital-first audiences.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted post-production workflow tools such as Premiere’s text-based editing, auto-reframe, or AI audio enhancement features.
• Experience with review platforms like Frame.io, project management tools like Airtable, and Slack-based production communication.
• Background editing sports highlights, entertainment content, or unboxing and collector culture content is a meaningful advantage.
