Job Type
Disney is hiring an ESPN Creative Studio Production Assistant Intern for its marketing and promotions team based in New York City. This role sits inside ESPN Creative Studio, the production arm responsible for designing and delivering promotional content across broadcast television, digital platforms, and print for ESPN’s full range of sports properties. It is a strong fit for a student or early-career professional who wants hands-on experience inside a major sports media production workflow.
About the Role
ESPN Creative Studio functions as an in-house agency embedded within ESPN Marketing, producing promotional spots, digital media assets, and cross-platform advertising for sports shows, events, and branded content. As the ESPN Creative Studio Production Assistant Intern, you will work alongside producers and creatives on live projects moving through the full production cycle, from concept through delivery. A typical day involves supporting active productions, tracking assets, and learning how broadcast television promotion is built from the ground up inside one of the largest sports media operations in the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting producers in coordinating production schedules and tracking deliverables across multiple simultaneous promotional campaigns.
- Assisting with asset management and ensuring media files are properly logged, organized, and accessible for editorial and post-production workflow.
- Helping facilitate communication between the creative studio, marketing teams, and external vendors during active production periods.
- Participating in production meetings and contributing research, notes, and logistical support to keep projects on schedule.
- Assisting in the preparation of materials for broadcast television and digital platform delivery, including pulling reference footage and compiling selects.
- Supporting on-set or in-studio shoots as needed, learning production coordination in a professional broadcast environment.
What You Bring
- Current enrollment in a film, media production, communications, or related undergraduate or graduate program.
- Familiarity with standard production office tools and media asset organization practices.
- Exposure to promotional media, episodic television, or sports broadcast content through coursework or prior internship experience.
- Strong attention to detail when handling production documentation and scheduling logistics.
- Ability to work on-site in New York City for the duration of the Fall 2026 internship term.
Why This Role
ESPN Creative Studio produces promotional content at a scale and speed that few in-house studios match, giving interns direct exposure to broadcast television production across major live sports properties. Disney internships are paid positions, and this one places you inside a studio where real campaigns ship on real deadlines. For anyone building a career in sports media production or broadcast promotion, the network and the credits carry genuine weight.
