This role sits firmly in post-production, responsible for taking raw footage through the full editorial pipeline to deliver finished assets across brand content, media reports, and promotional video for digital distribution. About the Role

The Video Editor works within Arab Weavers’ production team across a varied slate of projects, including branded content, short-form promotional video, and media-facing editorial pieces formatted for YouTube, social platforms, and advertising channels. Day-to-day work covers everything from assembly cuts and audio mixing to color work and final delivery, following the company’s established post-production workflow. This is a training-track position, meaning you are expected to grow into broader editorial and directorial responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut raw footage to picture lock across short and mid-length formats, meeting the visual and narrative standards set by the production team.
• Handle audio work including dialogue editing, mix balancing, and sound level alignment to match the tone of each project.
• Apply color correction and grading passes appropriate to the platform and brand guidelines for each deliverable.
• Work directly with the marketing and production teams to maintain consistent visual identity across all content output.
• Manage project file organization, version control, and editorial documentation throughout the post-production workflow.
• Participate in pre-production sessions to assess footage requirements and contribute to story structure decisions before the shoot.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in media, multimedia, design, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience or formal training with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve, supported by a portfolio that shows actual editorial work.
• Working knowledge of cutting principles, scene transitions, audio mixing, and digital archive management.
• Strong Arabic language skills, including the ability to write descriptive scripts and production documentation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under deadline without dropping quality on any deliverable.
