Amazon MGM Studios is hiring a VFX Executive, International Originals VFX, based in London to lead the adoption of generative AI across its international scripted slate. This role sits inside the VFX department and is responsible for translating AI strategy into working production pipelines across territories including Europe, Canada, Latin America, APAC and India. It suits an experienced VFX professional who understands both the technical and human sides of bringing new tools onto an active production.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of VFX, International Originals, this position works directly across the IO production slate, embedded in live VFX pipelines rather than operating at a purely strategic level. Day to day that means scoping GenAI use cases on individual titles, validating vendor readiness, and designing the SOPs and workflow documentation that let VFX Supervisors and Producers actually use these tools on the floor. The role also covers compliance, training, and regular reporting on adoption metrics to IOPP leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute hands-on generative AI VFX work on active International Originals productions, covering image generation, video synthesis and 3D asset creation within live VFX pipelines.
• Identify and scope GenAI use cases at the project level, quantifying cost savings and production value for individual titles across the IO slate.
• Design and document standardised GenAI workflows, SOPs and scalable adoption frameworks that can be reused across productions and territories.
• Assess VFX vendor AI capabilities and validate GenAI readiness, building relationships that support production requirements across all IO regions.
• Partner with Legal and Content Security teams to ensure AI tool usage meets rights, licensing, IP and data governance requirements on every production.
• Design and deliver training programmes tailored to different regional readiness levels, including flagship vendor knowledge-sharing events and cross-studio networking initiatives.

What You Bring

• Substantial on-set or post-production workflow experience within a VFX Supervisor, VFX Producer or senior pipeline role on episodic television or feature film production.
• Practical working knowledge of current generative AI tools used in VFX production contexts, not just familiarity with the technology landscape.
• A track record of delivering VFX work across multiple territories or international co-productions.
• Demonstrated ability to write production-ready documentation including SOPs, technical reference guides and workflow frameworks.
• Comfort navigating the cultural and creative sensitivities that come with introducing new technology to established production teams.
