About the Role

Day to day, this means cutting and refining footage, building motion graphics and VFX elements in After Effects, and delivering finished assets optimised for each platform’s specs. You are not just trimming clips, you are shaping the pacing, visual language, and motion design that drives viewer retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content from assembly to final delivery using Adobe Premiere Pro, maintaining consistency across platform-specific aspect ratios and export settings.
• Design and animate motion graphics sequences and title treatments in After Effects to support storytelling and brand identity.
• Apply VFX compositing techniques to enhance footage, including colour work, keying, and visual embellishment suited to short-form post-production.
• Review and quality-check all deliverables against platform requirements for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts prior to upload.
• Manage media organisation, project file structure, and version control within the post-production workflow to ensure clean handoffs.
• Contribute to the creative direction of edits by making informed cuts that serve narrative pacing and audience retention.

What You Bring

• One to three or more years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates short-form post-production work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects as primary production tools.
• Demonstrated experience with motion graphics design and basic VFX compositing within a short-form content pipeline.
• A working understanding of how content performs differently across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts formats.
• Based in or able to work from Nottingham, UK.
