Day to day, the Senior Video Editor, Manager is balancing their own edit sessions on flagship launch and partnership content with workload allocation, quality review, and development conversations across a remote editing team. The role reports into the Content Strategy Lead and works regularly alongside content production, graphic design, and creative strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Line-manage a remote team of editors, running workload allocation, output quality control, and structured development reviews for each team member.
• Personally cut the highest-priority content across short-form social, long-form YouTube, and ecommerce formats, holding the same standard you expect from the team.
• Own the post-production pipeline end to end, keeping a multi-project schedule moving cleanly through peak launch windows without slippage.
• Pull performance data on published content and translate it directly into editorial decisions around hooks, pacing, and retention across the team’s output.
• Partner with content production, graphic design, and creative strategy to maintain consistency between pre-production intent and the finished edit.
• Define how the editing function scales as content volume grows, including team structure and workflow improvements.

What You Bring

• Three or more years cutting both short-form and long-form content, with a reel that demonstrates genuine storytelling craft rather than assembly editing.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or an equivalent professional NLE at a production-level standard.
• Hands-on experience managing or mentoring editors in a commercial or branded content post-production environment.
• Comfort reading platform performance data and applying it to editorial strategy, not just reporting numbers after the fact.
• A track record of keeping high-volume, multi-project editorial pipelines on schedule under deadline pressure.
