About the Role

The Video Editor & Content Creation Specialist works directly alongside the Global Social Media Manager, translating brand strategy into finished content across multiple digital platforms. Day-to-day work involves editing footage from brand shoots, sourcing and cutting music, building motion graphics, and occasionally picking up a camera yourself to capture content on set. This is a hands-on post-production role with a short feedback loop, where assets move from brief to publish quickly and the editorial instincts of the person in the chair genuinely shape what the brand looks like.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube, applying platform-specific aspect ratios, pacing, and caption treatments.
• Develop motion graphics, text animations, and transitions using Adobe After Effects or equivalent tools to elevate social assets beyond raw cut footage.
• Support on-location and studio content shoots, operating both professional cameras and smartphones depending on the production context.
• Monitor social media content trends and emerging formats, bringing specific, actionable ideas to the team based on what is performing across relevant verticals.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within a digital content production workflow, tracking assets, versions, and delivery deadlines without dropping threads.
• Retouch and prepare photo assets for use across social channels, applying colour correction and compositing where required.

What You Bring

• Two to three years of experience in video editing, content creation, or social media production in a professional capacity.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or comparable editing software used in digital content production.
• A portfolio demonstrating edited short-form video work built specifically for social platforms, not repurposed from broadcast or long-form production.
• Graphic design skills covering layout, typography, and social asset creation are a genuine advantage in this role.
• Strong photo editing ability and comfort working with both stills and moving image within the same content pipeline.
