A typical day involves pulling selects from long-form interview transcripts, building emotional arcs into short-form vignettes, and coordinating with product marketers and senior leadership on brand alignment. The post-production pipeline runs on Adobe Premiere and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble raw interview footage into self-contained micro-stories running 15 to 60 seconds, preserving the subject’s voice without misrepresenting their intent.
• Edit long-form documentary and branded content pieces by extracting narrative structure directly from unscripted b-roll and interview transcripts.
• Apply pacing and rhythm judgments that serve the emotional tone of each piece, whether the goal is building tension, generating empathy, or driving a product decision.
• Calibrate each edit’s tone to its position in the marketing funnel, distinguishing between awareness content and late-stage consideration video in the post-production approach.
• Develop storyboards to help conceptualize complex stories before the edit begins, giving stakeholders a visual reference during pre-production reviews.
• Research social platform specifications and adapt deliverables accordingly, maintaining brand consistency across aspect ratios, durations, and format requirements.

What You Bring

• Five or more years in post-production, with a reel that demonstrates documentary-style or branded content editing rather than purely scripted work.
• Deep working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Cloud in a professional production environment.
• Experience shaping narratives from raw interview footage, including handling sensitive subject matter and real-person stories with editorial care.
• A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams that include marketers, subject matter experts, and senior stakeholders.
