Job Position(s): Senior Post Production Executive, UK, Production UK Scripted

Amazon MGM Studios is hiring a Senior Post Production Executive to join their UK Scripted team in Central London. This role sits at the centre of post production workflow for Amazon’s wholly-owned UK series and films, managing delivery of all assets from editorial through to Prime Video release. It’s a role for a seasoned post executive who knows how episodic television and film pipelines actually run, from budget approvals to vendor negotiations to global localization prep.

About the Role

The Senior Post Production Executive works within the Worldwide Production and Operations team, overseeing post production on UK scripted originals, including the kind of titles that have defined Amazon MGM Studios’ recent output across drama series and feature-length projects. Day to day, this means tracking schedules and deliverables across multiple productions simultaneously, coordinating with editing facilities and third-party post vendors, and keeping internal stakeholders aligned on asset readiness for PR, marketing, and international localization. You’re the person who knows where every element is and when it lands.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee on-time, on-budget delivery for all UK scripted series and movies across development, production, and post production phases.
• Review and approve post production budgets, vendor bids, schedules, and cost reports, negotiating final deals for post services where required.
• Evaluate technical workflows and measure them against Amazon content security standards, flagging risks across asset management, archival solutions, and emerging technologies.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors on editing, versioning, and asset delivery, maintaining quality control throughout the post production workflow.
• Liaise with internal Mastering, Localization, and Technology teams to prepare series for global release across Prime Video territories.
• Distribute assets to Marketing and Public Relations teams, ensuring deadlines tied to release campaigns are met without compromising deliverable integrity.

What You Bring

• Significant experience as a post production executive or senior post producer across episodic television or film, with a track record of managing complex multi-title slates.
• Demonstrated ability to approve and manage post production budgets, including vendor negotiations and cost reporting across full post schedules.
• Hands-on familiarity with post production workflows including editorial, VFX pipeline oversight, mastering, and delivery to major streaming platforms.
• Strong working relationships with UK-based post facilities, versioning houses, and localization vendors.
• Comfort operating across internal stakeholder groups including technology, legal, and creative production departments within a studio structure.

Why This Role
