The Initiative Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to build next-generation text-to-speech (TTS) systems capable of producing natural, expressive, and human-like voices. We are seeking professional voice actors to contribute high-quality recordings for training cutting-edge speech models.

[CRITICAL NOTICE – DATA PRIVACY]: Your voice recordings will be used exclusively and cloned strictly for the client’s internal CX (Customer Experience) AI Agent. Your voice will not be sold, licensed, or reused for any other product, dataset, or purpose outside of this specific operational use case.

Compensation & Structure

Rate: $50 – $150 USD per hour (rates confirmed based on your professional experience tier).

Format: 100% Remote, independent contractor role. Flexible scheduling (reliable availability needed for approx. 5-10 hours per week).

Payments: Processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.

Core Responsibilities

• Record high-quality voice samples across diverse scripts (conversational, narrative, instructional).
• Deliver clear, natural, and expressive speech with strict control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation.
• Perform multiple takes with variation in emotion, emphasis, and style (e.g., conversational, corporate, energetic, calm).
• Consistently follow detailed recording guidelines regarding environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.

✅ Strict Eligibility & Profile Requirements

✔️ Language Proficiency & Delivery: Must possess native-level fluency in Spanish. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to deliver a clear, neutral, and internationally intelligible tone suitable for global CX scenarios.

✔️ Operational Location Requirement: Due to platform and operational guidelines, candidates must be currently located in eligible regions across the Americas (e.g., Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, etc.).

✔️ Experience: Proven professional background in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting (Experience with TTS, audiobooks, or IVR systems is highly preferred).

✔️ Studio Setup: Must have access to a professional or near-professional home recording setup (high-quality microphone, isolated/quiet environment, pop filter, etc.).
