About the Role

The Production Executive works within Amazon MGM Studios’ Brazilian content team, overseeing productions across scripted series, unscripted formats, and movies with a core focus on episodic television production. Day-to-day work includes reviewing cost reports with producers and production managers, coordinating logistics across internal departments, and traveling to set to assess workflow and address production challenges as they arise. This person connects the creative, business, and operational sides of production to keep projects moving from development through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of scripted series, unscripted, and feature film productions, ensuring each project meets its creative and business objectives from development through post-production delivery.
• Lead episodic scheduling, script-to-screen workflows, and series-level budget oversight as the primary focus of the production slate.
• Manage budget reviews and cost reports in close coordination with producers and production managers, maintaining financial accountability across all active projects.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners on production safety, labor compliance, insurance, immigration, visa, and tax matters specific to Brazilian production.
• Travel to production sets to evaluate operational workflow, assess budget performance against actuals, and resolve on-the-ground challenges.
• Work with post-production teams to track asset delivery timelines and ensure all required materials are delivered to spec and on schedule.

What You Bring

• Significant experience in production management or physical production across scripted series and at least one additional genre, such as unscripted or feature film production.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-project slates with overlapping schedules and budgets at a studio or major production company level.
• Working knowledge of Brazilian labor regulations, production tax incentives, and local industry compliance requirements.
• Experience coordinating across legal, finance, business affairs, and creative departments within a large content organization.
• Fluency in Portuguese is expected given the local production context; English proficiency is required for internal studio communication.
