About the Role

Reporting to the VFX Producer and Production Manager, this Production Coordinator acts as the operational centre of the show for their assigned disciplines, translating high-level targets into daily crew priorities. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with discipline supervisors and leads to crew and schedule specific bodies of work against show bids, client reviews, and overall production targets.
• Build and maintain daily and weekly communication rhythms that keep artist crews and the broader production team aligned on priorities and assignments.
• Manage all scheduling and shot tracking in ShotGrid, ensuring data accuracy is maintained for the full production team throughout the VFX pipeline.
• Run regular artist check-ins, monitor work progress, and escalate risks to leadership before they affect delivery schedules.
• Coordinate discipline turnovers, track client deliveries, and organise dailies and shot reviews so feedback is captured accurately in the tracking system.
• Supervise and mentor assigned Production Assistants, delegating tasks appropriately while maintaining oversight of outputs.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a Production Coordinator or Senior Production Assistant within a VFX facility or post-production environment.
• Working knowledge of ShotGrid for shot tracking, scheduling, and production reporting across feature film or episodic television projects.
• Familiarity with VFX production workflow, including turnovers, client deliveries, and the relationship between discipline-level scheduling and show-wide targets.
• Ability to perform basic technical troubleshooting and run scripts for view station and setup issues in a studio environment.
• Strong written communication skills, with experience generating progress reports and milestone summaries for production leadership.
