Job Position(s): Production Assistant / Stage manager (Freelancer)
Project Type: Film & Television
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Fever is hiring a freelance Production Assistant and Stage Manager to run live entertainment shows across Istanbul and Thessaloniki. This role sits at the intersection of live event production and show calling, with the person responsible for full technical and operational execution of an immersive theatrical experience using QLab 5. It suits a stage manager or live event PA who is equally comfortable in pre-production logistics and calling cues from the booth on show nights.

About the Role

You will be embedded in the Fever Originals team, working on The Jury Experience, an immersive live production that runs in Turkey. The job covers both pre-production groundwork and on-site show execution, meaning your week might involve translating production materials into Turkish, reviewing cue sheets, and supervising rehearsals before you step into full show control on event days. This is a freelance contract position structured for someone who can operate independently across multiple production cities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of QLab 5 show control during live performances, keeping all scene, lighting, sound, and video cues in sync with the run of show.
  • Call the live show by directing actor entry and exit cues, coordinating the Staff Coordinator and cast in real time throughout each performance.
  • Translate production materials from English into Turkish, proofread the localized script, and record Turkish voiceovers for audio and video assets.
  • Act as the primary on-site liaison between cast, talent agencies, and venue contacts, flagging production risks to the Producer before they become show-day problems.
  • Manage the voting and verdict system during each show, compiling results and coordinating the delivery of verdict envelopes according to the production format.
  • Scout venues and local technical suppliers when new cities are added to the run, filtering options against the technical rider, budget, and casting briefs.

What You Bring

  • Hands-on experience stage managing or calling cues for live theatrical or immersive event productions.
  • Proficiency in QLab 5, with the ability to complete additional QLab training with Fever’s in-house expert before the first show.
  • Native or near-native Turkish language skills, with the ability to translate production documents and record professional voiceovers.
  • Familiarity with live entertainment production workflows, including rehearsal supervision, technical run-throughs, and show-day logistics.
  • VAT-registered status as an independent contractor, as this role is structured as a freelance engagement.

Why This Role

Fever operates a large-scale live entertainment production slate across more than 55 countries, giving freelancers on their Originals team exposure to international production workflows and formats that most local markets rarely see. The Jury Experience is an established immersive format, so you are stepping into a structured production with real infrastructure rather than building from scratch. This Production Assistant and Stage Manager role is based primarily in Istanbul, with work extending to Thessaloniki as the production runs.

Apply now for the Production Assistant and Stage Manager role at Fever and bring The Jury Experience to life on the ground in Turkey.
