Avant Arte is hiring a freelance Product Photographer and Videographer based full-time at their Amsterdam warehouse. This role sits at the center of the company’s visual production workflow, responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering all product photography and video assets for every edition release across their e-commerce platform. It suits a commercially minded shooter with a solid post-production background who is comfortable owning a studio environment end to end.

About the Role

Working directly within Avant Arte’s creative operations team, this person handles the full asset pipeline from shoot day through to archived delivery, covering new edition releases, behind-the-scenes content, and artist signing moments. A typical day moves between tabletop product photography, composite image work, colour-matching edits, and processing incoming photography from the company’s global photographer network. The role is offered as a freelance contract through the end of 2025, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with a view to a permanent position in 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all in-house product photography and videography for new edition releases, managing shoot scheduling against warehouse intake of incoming artworks.
• Edit and colour-match all photography and video to Avant Arte’s technical specifications, ensuring accurate colour representation and true-to-scale in-situ imagery across every asset.
• Create framed composite images for each edition and produce supplementary image and video assets as requested by the content team.
• Process and colour-match photography and video received from a global network of photographers to maintain consistency with internal asset standards.
• Own the organisation, upload, and archiving of all high-resolution image and video files within the master asset archive.
• Research and recommend studio equipment upgrades, maintain inventory and maintenance records, and carry out regular equipment checks.

What You Bring

• Minimum two years of experience in a studio or e-commerce product photography environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One for photo editing and colour correction workflows.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for video post-production.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance photography and produce short-form video content.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with basic Dutch considered a plus.
• A registered KvK number, as required to work on a freelance basis in the Netherlands.
