Product Designer

Paramount is hiring a Product Designer based in New York, NY to join its creative team working across its streaming and digital product portfolio. This role sits within the product design function, responsible for shaping the user-facing interfaces that drive discovery, engagement, and retention across Paramount’s streaming platforms and digital products. About the Role

The Product Designer role is embedded in a cross-functional team supporting digital product development across Paramount’s streaming and on-demand ecosystem, which includes Paramount+ and Pluto TV among others. Day to day, this person is translating product requirements into pixel-precise designs, mapping user flows, and iterating based on feedback from engineering and product partners. The work spans the full product lifecycle, from early concepting through to launch, with real ownership expected at each stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design pixel-precise, on-brand interfaces built directly from product requirements and stakeholder input across streaming platform touchpoints.
• Research competitive digital product landscapes to inform design decisions that account for evolving functionality and platform revenue goals.
• Develop user flows and interaction patterns that address discovery and engagement challenges within the streaming product experience.
• Advocate for visual and functional consistency across design systems while identifying opportunities to evolve interaction patterns at scale.
• Partner directly with product managers and engineering organizations to deliver design work across the entire digital product lifecycle, from concept through post-launch iteration.
• Apply AI tools to expand exploratory design work and accelerate execution on tight production timelines.

What You Bring

• 3 to 5 years of product design experience, ideally within a media, streaming, or entertainment technology environment.
• Strong UX and visual design fundamentals with demonstrated experience designing simple, intuitive interfaces across multiple device types.
• A track record of shipping products, with multiple full launch cycles under your belt.
• The ability to rapidly concept, ideate, and execute across several design directions simultaneously under shifting deadlines.
• Experience working within or alongside engineering organizations in an agile or sprint-based product development workflow.
