About the Role

Sony Pictures Television Networks-Latin America operates linear networks, ad sales offices, and digital properties across Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, including wholly owned entities and partnerships. The Finance Intern, TV Distribution and Networks will work inside the team managing the full revenue cycle for these properties, from FAST channels and YouTube monetization to traditional television distribution settlements. A typical week involves reconciling digital revenue accounts, tracking cash flow, and supporting the monthly close process alongside the core finance staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear unapplied cash accounts and maintain accuracy across receivables balances in the Latin America ad sales finance workflow.
• Prepare settlement statements to process payments owed to third-party television networks for regional collections.
• Reconcile agency incentives on a quarterly basis to ensure accruals are properly updated across the advertising sales book.
• Support the monthly close process by parking journal entries related to cash, balance sheet, and receivables activity.
• Assist with monthly reconciliation of digital revenues and expenses across platforms including YouTube, social media, and FAST channel distribution.
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable status reports and assist with withholding tax certificate reconciliations across Latin American markets.

What You Bring

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with coursework in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including conditional formatting, pivot tables, and formula-based financial analysis.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition principles and basic accounting close processes.
• Availability to work part-time between 10 and 29 hours per week on a hybrid basis in Miami for the program period of September 8 or 14 through December 11, 2026.
