Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring a Features Video Producer to join the CNN team in London, based at 160 Old Street. This role sits within CNN’s digital content division, producing features-led video for social-first platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, taking stories from initial concept through to final delivery. About the Role

The Producer will work within CNN’s features team, developing original series and standalone pieces across culture, music, lifestyle, travel, science, and entertainment verticals. Day-to-day production workflow spans pre-production planning, field and studio shoots, and edit supervision, often running several projects in parallel across different stages. This is a hybrid role, combining remote work with in-office time at the London base, structured in agreement with the line manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original story ideas and build them into structured visual narratives, including conceiving and producing recurring digital series.
• Produce shoots in the field and studio, directing crew and on-screen talent to deliver footage that meets editorial and platform requirements.
• Carry out thorough pre-production across scripting, storyboarding, interview planning, talent booking, and shoot logistics.
• Edit or oversee the editing of finished pieces in Adobe Premiere, maintaining strong pacing, visual cohesion, and story clarity throughout post-production workflow.
• Create content built specifically for social video distribution, with a clear understanding of format, length, and audience behaviour across each platform.
• Troubleshoot production challenges as they arise on location or in the edit, finding practical solutions that keep delivery on schedule.

What You Bring

• Extensive video journalism experience gained at a recognised news organisation or production company, with credits across features or documentary-style content.
• Proven track record producing digital-first and multi-platform video content with a confident visual style.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, with motion graphics experience considered a clear advantage.
• Strong pre-production skills across scripting, storyboarding, and interview preparation, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• The ability to self-shoot is preferred, making you a flexible operator across varying production setups.
