Brandward Marketing, a Canadian marketing agency working fully remote and open to applicants worldwide, is hiring a Multimedia Content Creator and Video Editor for ongoing part-time work with long-term potential. This role sits squarely in the social media content production and short-form video post-production workflow, turning client-supplied footage, photography, and messaging into finished deliverables across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. It suits a self-directed editor and graphic designer with commercial production experience who can operate independently inside a clear creative brief.

About the Role

Brandward serves clients across tourism, hospitality, real estate, automotive, and events, among other industries, which means the content pipeline is varied and consistent. A typical week involves receiving a creative brief and raw materials, then cutting short-form promotional video content, building static and carousel graphics, and preparing platform-specific versions for client approval. The post-production workflow here is client-facing and deadline-driven, closer to commercial video production than editorial work.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into short-form social media video content including Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and paid social advertisements, with attention to pacing, sound design, and colour correction.
• Source and integrate properly licensed stock footage, motion graphics, music, and AI-assisted visuals when client-supplied materials need supplementing.
• Produce static social media graphics and carousel posts that maintain consistency across typography, colour, and brand tone across multiple client accounts.
• Adapt finished content into multiple aspect ratios and durations to meet the technical specifications of each distribution platform.
• Apply captions, lower thirds, and calls to action that serve the marketing objective of each individual piece, not just the aesthetic.
• Deliver clearly organised project files, both editable and final exports, and respond to revision notes professionally and within agreed timelines.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable professional experience in short-form commercial or promotional video production, with a portfolio that shows work across multiple industries or client types.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, with working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Solid understanding of colour correction, audio editing, and motion graphics within a client approval workflow.
• Experience creating content formatted for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including paid social advertising formats.
• Strong proofreading habits and the ability to self-review work against a creative brief before submission.
