A typical day involves shadowing the founder on location, capturing observational behind-the-scenes footage, and returning to post to cut and grade sequences to a premium standard. Travel across the UK and occasional international shoots are part of the production schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera on location during founder shoots, capturing both observational documentary footage and structured talking-head interviews.
• Manage the full post-production workflow from ingesting and organising raw footage through to final export for YouTube and social platforms.
• Perform professional colour grading on all delivered content to maintain a consistent, cinematic look across the production slate.
• Shoot and edit short-form social media content cut from longer shoots, adapting pacing and format to suit platform-specific delivery requirements.
• Work autonomously on location, making real-time decisions about framing, lighting, and audio capture without a dedicated crew.
• Maintain continuity of visual style and storytelling tone across an ongoing series of branded documentary content.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a shooter-editor on documentary, branded content, or corporate video production.
• Strong colour grading skills with working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or equivalent professional grading software.
• A reel showing cinematic single-operator work, ideally including talking-head production and observational footage.
• Comfortable operating as a one-person production unit on location with minimal direction.
• Familiarity with delivering content formatted for YouTube long-form and short-form social media distribution.
