Job Position(s): Motion Designer & Video Editor
Project Type: Short Film
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Pogo Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Motion Designer & Video Editor based in Brooklyn, New York. This role sits at the intersection of post-production and brand creative, responsible for producing product demos, UI animations, short-form consumer ads, and editorial content across both B2B and B2C channels. It suits a motion and editorial generalist who has worked inside a SaaS or tech company, or at an agency serving that space, and knows how to make software products look compelling on screen.

About the Role

As the first in-house Motion Designer & Video Editor at Pogo Technologies, you will work directly with the Marketing, Product, and Design teams to own the full post-production workflow from concept through final delivery. On any given day that means storyboarding a product launch video in the morning, cutting a performance ad from UGC footage in the afternoon, and refining a motion system that other team members can build from. The output spans platform-native short-form content, website video, paid acquisition creative, and long-form brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce original UI animations and motion graphics that translate complex SaaS product features into clear, watchable sequences for B2B marketing campaigns.
  • Edit short-form consumer ads using UGC and creator footage, applying performance creative instincts around hook structure, pacing, and narrative variation to drive results.
  • Own the end-to-end post-production pipeline for each project, including animation, sound design, captioning, format adaptation, and final delivery across platforms.
  • Create founder, customer, and testimonial editorial content that supports brand storytelling across organic and paid channels.
  • Build reusable motion templates, design systems, and production workflows that increase output quality and speed across the video function.
  • Integrate AI tools into the production workflow at appropriate stages, from asset generation to editing, without compromising the quality of finished work.

What You Bring

  • A portfolio demonstrating both original motion design work and footage-led editorial, including product or UI animation credits.
  • Direct experience producing video content for B2B technology or SaaS companies, either in-house or through agency work.
  • Professional proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of Figma for pulling product design assets into the animation pipeline.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt creative approach across B2B product storytelling and consumer-facing performance creative formats.
  • Existing use of AI tools within a creative or post-production context.

Why This Role

Pogo Technologies is building its video and motion function from the ground up, which means the person in this seat will define the visual language for how the brand and its products appear on screen, with direct visibility into how that work performs across launches and paid campaigns. You will have input over tooling, process, and creative direction rather than inheriting a fixed system. This is a staff role with real scope, not a contract position filling an existing gap.

Apply today for the Motion Designer & Video Editor position at Pogo Technologies, Inc. and bring your motion design and post-production experience to a team building something from scratch in Brooklyn.
