Job Position(s): Language Producer, Global English - Content Localization
Project Type: TV Series
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Netflix is hiring a Language Producer, Global English for its Content Localization department, based in Los Angeles, California. This role sits inside the localization pipeline and is accountable for the quality and cultural accuracy of English-language dubbed audio, timed text, and marketing assets delivered to Netflix members worldwide. It suits a localization professional who thinks in ecosystems rather than title-by-title checklists and has real experience managing vendor relationships in a global content workflow.

About the Role

The Language Producer, Global English works within Netflix’s Content Localization group, sitting at the intersection of partner management and direct title engagement across dubbing, timed text, and marketing localization. On any given day, this person might be running a quarterly vendor review, assessing casting gaps in the English dubbing talent pool, or stepping in on a high-priority title where a judgment call on mix or performance quality matters. The split is roughly 60 percent partner ecosystem work and 40 percent direct engagement with a tiered slate of priority titles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day and strategic relationship with English dubbing studios, timed-text vendors, and audio description partners, running performance reviews and escalating contract or vetting matters to Global Resource Management.
  • Train and align localization vendors so they can consistently hit Netflix’s quality bar through self-QC and local expertise, without requiring constant internal oversight on every title.
  • Build and maintain casting pipelines for English-language dubbing and audio description, identifying gaps in mature voices, diverse casting, and niche genre coverage and designing initiatives to close them.
  • Apply a tiered engagement model across episodic television and film localization workflows, stepping in directly on high-priority or systemic-quality titles where producer judgment has the most impact.
  • Monitor union and guild activity, market rates, and competitor behavior that could affect capacity, pricing, or vendor mix across the English-language post-production localization market.
  • Serve as the local integrator of partner and quality data, escalating critical issues to Legal or Public Policy even when resolution sits outside this role’s direct authority.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in content localization production, with hands-on knowledge of dubbing workflows, timed text, and marketing asset delivery at scale.
  • A track record of managing vendor relationships across multiple localization partners in a global streaming or broadcast environment.
  • Familiarity with English-language dubbing talent ecosystems, including casting, union considerations, and audio description narration.
  • Experience reading and acting on quality and performance data to make strategic vendor or title-level decisions.
  • Ability to operate across both strategic and tactical levels, moving from ecosystem planning to hands-on mix reviews depending on priority.

Why This Role

Netflix operates one of the largest content localization pipelines in the world, which means the Language Producer, Global English is working at a scale and complexity that few other companies can offer. The role carries real ownership over partner strategy and quality outcomes, not just task execution, which makes it a meaningful step for anyone building a career in global content operations. The Los Angeles location puts this position inside a cross-functional team that works directly with in-territory and international production groups.

Apply now for the Language Producer, Global English position at Netflix and bring your localization expertise to one of the most widely distributed content pipelines in the industry.
