In-House Videographer & Editor

Fitness Unicorn Coaching Pty Ltd is hiring an In-House Videographer & Editor based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, to own the full content production pipeline for their Unicorn Nation brand. This role sits at the intersection of production and post-production, covering everything from single-camera shoots and location capture through to delivery of long-form YouTube content and short-form social video across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. It suits a self-directed content producer who is comfortable operating as a one-person crew and cutting their own footage to a brief.

About the Role

The In-House Videographer & Editor works directly alongside the company founder and core team, functioning as the sole owner of the visual content workflow from concept through final export. Day-to-day production includes planning shoots, operating camera on location and in controlled environments, and managing the edit from assembly cut to platform-ready deliverable. The role requires someone who understands the structural difference between a long-form YouTube video and a short-form social clip, and can build a consistent output across both formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, managing each project from pre-production brief through to final delivery.
• Develop and execute a long-form YouTube content strategy, including episode structure, pacing, and narrative arc across the channel.
• Operate camera and manage on-location production at events, brand shoots, and lifestyle captures, including shoots that require interstate or regional travel.
• Cut short-form social video with a clear understanding of platform-specific content formats, retention patterns, and thumbnail-to-edit relationships.
• Collaborate with the founder on creative direction, translating brand messaging into visual storytelling that performs across multiple social video platforms.
• Manage the post-production workflow independently, including file management, colour, audio mixing, and export for each destination platform.

What You Bring

• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating proven experience across both long-form and short-form video production.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable professional non-linear editing system.
• Demonstrated experience producing YouTube content, with an understanding of how editorial choices affect audience retention and channel growth.
• Experience working across social video production for Instagram and TikTok, including an understanding of vertical format and short-form storytelling.
• Strong organisational habits and the ability to manage multiple projects in various stages of production simultaneously.
