Job Type
Experian is hiring a Hybrid Videographer & Editor on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Central London, City of Westminster. This role sits within the brand content production function, responsible for shooting and editing video assets across social media campaigns and broader marketing productions, from pre-production planning through to final delivery. It suits a self-shooting editor who is equally comfortable directing talent on location as they are deep in a post-production workflow.
About the Role
Working inside Experian’s in-house content team, this Hybrid Videographer & Editor handles projects from concept through to platform-ready delivery, meaning the same person carrying the camera is also the one cutting the timeline. A typical day moves between location shoots, directing on-screen talent, and editing suites where color grading, sound design, and motion graphics all sit within the same production cycle. Output is built for digital and social distribution, so format versioning and platform-specific deliverables are a regular part of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute location shoots end-to-end, including pre-production logistics, shot listing, and directing talent to camera.
- Edit footage to broadcast-quality standards, applying color grading, sound design, and motion graphics within a single post-production workflow.
- Deliver platform-specific cuts optimized for social video formats including vertical, square, and widescreen aspect ratios.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools into the production pipeline to improve turnaround times without reducing editorial or visual quality.
- Manage media organization, project files, and asset archiving in line with in-house production standards.
- Oversee the full content lifecycle across multiple concurrent campaigns, coordinating directly with the brand team on creative direction and amends.
What You Bring
- A solid reel of self-shot and self-edited work across commercial, brand, or social video production.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for color work.
- Experience directing non-actor talent on location in a corporate or branded content context.
- Competency in sound design and audio mixing at an edit suite level, not just basic track laying.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing or production tools applied within a real production environment.
Why This Role
Experian operates a genuine in-house production function, which means creative decisions stay close to the people making the work rather than being routed through agency layers. This Hybrid Videographer & Editor position offers 12 months of consistent, varied production work with a globally recognised brand operating out of Central London. For a self-shooting editor looking to build credits across high-volume branded content, the scope here is real.
Apply now for the Hybrid Videographer & Editor role at Experian and bring your production reel to the team.
