About the Role

Day to day, that means working through online post-production workflow on advertising content, from conform through to final delivery. Because this is a freelance arrangement, you’ll be called in as projects require, so the expectation is that you can step into a seat and contribute immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute high-end compositing and finishing work within the Autodesk Flame post-production workflow on advertising campaigns.
• Conform edits and manage timeline organization to ensure picture-lock deliverables meet broadcast and digital specifications.
• Perform color grading support, paint, and cleanup work as required within the commercial VFX pipeline.
• Collaborate directly with creative directors and finishing supervisors to interpret editorial intent and apply it precisely in Flame.
• Manage multiple deliverable formats and versioning across different markets and platforms within a single project.
• Maintain consistent quality and technical accuracy across all output, meeting deadlines typical of short-turnaround advertising post production.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable professional experience as a Flame Artist in advertising or commercial post production.
• Deep working knowledge of Autodesk Flame, including batch compositing, timeline finishing, and delivery workflows.
• A reel or credit history that reflects work on recognized advertising or commercial VFX projects.
• The ability to work independently on a freelance basis with minimal ramp-up time on new projects.
• Valid US work authorization, which is a firm requirement for all freelance engagements with Framestore New York.
