About the Role

The position operates within FOX News Radio, one of the largest audio news networks in the country, reaching audiences across cable, digital streaming, and podcast platforms. Day-to-day work shifts between monitoring live broadcast signal paths, running the board for breaking news coverage, and producing finished podcast episodes ready for consumer distribution. The role demands someone who can move between technical troubleshooting and editorial production workflow without losing a beat on either side.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor outbound and return signal paths across all FOX News Radio broadcast platforms to ensure uninterrupted network distribution.
• Run the control board for live coverage, pre-tapes, and full program production across FOX News Talk and FOX News Headlines 24/7.
• Edit and time out FOX News Talk programming for re-feeds, maintaining broadcast standards throughout the post-production audio workflow.
• Coordinate reporters for live shots within newscasts and breaking news events, working directly with editorial and engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot operational, CPU, and automation issues in real time within a live broadcast audio environment.
• Produce FOX News podcast episodes by adjusting guest audio levels, inserting music beds and soundbites, adding ad insertion markers, and posting finished files to the consumer-facing page.

What You Bring

• Prior broadcast experience in a live radio or television audio operations role.
• Working knowledge of ENCO automation systems and Adobe Audition for audio editing and podcast production.
• Hands-on experience running an audio console in a live or news production setting.
• Familiarity with radio broadcast signal monitoring, including outbound and return path workflows.
• Availability to work weekends as part of a regular schedule.
